For most of my life, I’ve never fit neatly into one box. I’ve been an attorney, entrepreneur, speaker, personal safety expert, fashion designer, pageant competitor and more—and I’ve learned that there is no reason we have to limit ourselves to a single identity, career or chapter.
I think a lot of people feel pressure to choose one lane and stay there. But interests change, opportunities come along, and sometimes the most interesting parts of life happen when you are willing to try something completely different. Reinvention does not have to mean starting over. Sometimes it just means giving yourself permission to keep evolving.
The common thread for me has always been curiosity, confidence and the willingness to keep moving forward. Life does not have to be one thing, and neither do we.
